Fortess member and Former Mission Director, Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) R Ramanan (profile attached), addressed us on the various facets, projects and opportunities in the area of driving Innovation across the country and contributing to the Innovation ecosystem around us. Ramanan as part of his session touched upon:
– the rapid evolution of the startup / innovation ecosystem in India ( both social innovation and commercially driven innovation)
– government and institutional initiatives related to the same
– how private sector / NGOs / MNCs / other countries are becoming vital participants and stakeholders in this growing scaling ecosystem in India
Ramanan’s session was followed by an active & very engaging Q&A by members who shared their thoughts on how Fortess as an Organization can be a contributor to this mission and how our activities can intertwine with that of AIM & other similar movements. We will continue to engage with Ramanan and his team, for delivering meaningiful, collective outputs in driving Innovation & supporting start-ups.
