Mr.Ganesh Kulkarni, Mr.Suresh Kumar, Mr.B.Gopal and myself from Fortess side had a mentoring session with VJTI students (from 10 am to 1.30 p.m), sponsored by Ms.Charu Gupta of Young Scholars Trust. Around 15 students of the third year from different branches of Engineering were present for this session.
Fortress members introduced the students and discussed the important points on how to participate in an interview with an employer. There was an interactive session wherein the importance of being a Subject Matter Expert, comprehensive Project Thesis, Analytics which is applicable to any industry, Innovative ideas, Group Discussions, and the importance of Digitisation was talked about in-depth. Thereafter each Fortess member had a one to one session to help the students with the problems that they faced and the improvements that they needed, to be confident to successfully go through the interview process. All the participants, who were very happy with the session, have expressed interest in having another session in April 2020 exclusively as a mock interview session.
